I defintely prefer non tapered leaders myself. It's just a personal preference as i've nothing really agains't tapered. |

the only problem ive found and not sure if its how i tie my knot but the knot on a non-tapered leader always catches on the rings and slows the cast down. Is it just me???

Personally, I always use a tapered leader - keeps the knot small. |
