whats the best knot for this stuff?

i think i'll be attaching my lead to the end of the mainline and then just tying on a snood above the lead.

should i use a weak link for rotten bottom?

which knot should i use for the swivel?

what rig do you use?

will a single snood with two hooks be ok? tougue

Normally I use a pennel pulley rig.
cool
The knot I use for attaching the swivel is a 5-7 turn grinner knot.
I always loop the braid through the swivel twice as this helps with maintaining the strength of the braid.

There is a version of it in a small Ultima brochure I once read its called "the ultimate knot".
If I remember correctly it involves 7 or 9 turns up and then 3 turns down.
It does exactly what it says on the tin, but I havn't tried it at sea yet.

Big bass man what can you tell me about fishing at LLanelli, been working at the North dock and it looks quite a nice place to fish?

a tip i read somewhere was to set yourself a time to get out of bed every morning and it can help you sleep better at night.

Cable braid is made by Ron Thompson. I find it a lot thinner than other makes of the same strength, I use 80lb straight through. Its guaranteed to be of the same strength after 10 trips as it was when new. I myself take this with a pinch of salt, but it is very good. I tried to get it cheaper by ordering 2,000 meters straight from the manufacturers (buy in bulk) all to no avail as they only make 300 meter spools. I ended up buying 7 rolls.
