:lol: Hi all whats the best leader knot to tie?
I would think that the double Grinner is but maybe theres a better one that I havent heard about Any Views?

basically you would have a Half hitch "granny knot" on the leader, thread the main line through the leader half hitch knot about 4" and pull very tight then continue with the main line forming a grinner then finally pulling the grinner back against the half . The vast majority of sea anglers use this method :wink:

Dont agree with either of those 2 knots,its gotta be a bimini twist

I would agree yes that the bimini twist is yes the best knot but not too practical really for a lot of situations as its far more complex to tie.

I mostly fish rock edges and can tie a bimini on the edges in the dark with only my headlight in under 1 minute,best and strongest knott in the world and suitable for fishing anywhere
