Hi all.
After years of rugby abuse on my body I've decided to take up sea fishing.
I've purchased a pier outfit and looking into beach rods.
The family and I are heading to Lyme this wk-end, and was wondering if the Cob was an ok place for a total beginer.
Yours in sport, Rob
PS, Anyone from the SW wishing to hookup around the West coast or Bristol chanel and give a novice some pointers, would be very much app'ed |

One place worth a try. Go to the seaward side of the entrance to the harbour and try float fishing or bottom fishing out towards the main wall ie seaward again. I have tried mackerel strip and had great sport with garfish
