Hi my one says you have to FIRST set it on a full moon to the location you want.......then check/ reset every full moon
It also says that it might error within a hour each way due to neeps/ springs!

Hi jamcol, I have an interesting and very helpful little programme sitting on my desktop that I use frequently. It is called "WXTIDE32", you can set it up for just about anywhere in the world, and it will give you accurate real time figures for both tide and moon phase. Don't know how to add a link here, but if you Google search for WXTIDE32, it is free to download and use, and relatively easy to set up. Thought it may be an easy way for you to check and set the time on your tide clock.

Kind regards, and tight lines!
