Hi all,I went fishing early hours sunday morning at dungie.I tried to fish the boil but the sea was rough as *%$#!couldnt hold the bottom with my antique 8+oz gripper (like trying to cast a brick!)
I couldnt belive the amount of LITTER flying up the beach towards me!i had to dodge out the way of beer cans, balls of fishing line and all kind of stuff,I know not all of the litter was from fishermen but it would be so much nicer if we all took a little care to clean up after ourselves,as a tesco bag flew past my face it reminded me that every little helps!!
Please do your bit.

Oh yeah,if you are that miserable bloke that plotted up about 3 meters away from me!(might as well of sat on my box lol!)And fished the comp sunday about 9-30am,hope you blanked!!

When the tide is pulling strong and a heavy lead won't hold bottom, try letting oput a bit more line so that the line has a bow in it, a lot like uptiding from a boat. If theres a lot of weed about then this will do you no good but if its just a strong tide then it will make the line pull in the same direction as the tide.

Its almost impossible to detect bites like that but at least you'll be fishing.
