Well....what can i say

dispite perfect cod conditions and sea state, tide was right,weather was right and we was in the right spot i.e
in front of a deep hole the fish did not want to play out.

the first 4 hours of the flood was a total waste of time
with 2 minute rockling caught by lugsy.

we had allocated the times 1pm - 4pm and the heaviest fish caught in this period would win the trophy.

at 3.50pm karl shouts he had a flounder , at 0.66kg it was the only fish caught with in the match time.
at 3.55pm i reeled in to rebait and found a 0.061kg whiting hanging on me ook......booger...lol ;D

karl was presented with the trophy by lugsy....well done karl

stubby's kids also picked up a few trophys for attending

i would like to thank all who attended esspecially the ladds that travelled from notts,and the wirral as its a good few hours trek
and a big thanx to lugsy for donating the trophys
in all 10 members came and fished and it was great to meet/see you all again, even if the fishing was terrible

up to me leaving jock (fishy1) and karl ~(hotspur) was getting in to some whiting and a small bass as the tide eased up to hi-water

so theres a lesson to be learned here......

never attend one of my meets cos youll blank...... winking

Stubby`s kids enjoyed the day,and were very well behaved (i bet they`re not like that at home ;D)sorry for blinding your little girl with my tiga 8-)

Looks like a good time had by all judging by the smiles m8.Thanks for postng the piccies and well done all.

Perhaps we can arrange a trip in the coming months,a little comp or something,would make for an alefest to remember i'd wager.. :wink:
