Hi all i am looking for a tripod and would like your help make,model etc.I would like one thats of good quality and am looking to spend about£40 to £50 so if you guy's can help please let me know thanks for your help.

Well one of the top tripods / rod rests would definately be an Ian Golds most sea match anglers use them and they are of top quality,

one other top rod rest would be the breakaway model. :wink:

Agree with MrRix - Ian Golds for sure, but would also add that 6ft should be the min. height too...

Agree with everyone. My choice would be Ian Gold's double header its probably as good as you will get. At the price you are prepared to pay it may be worth considering a few extras like a trace hanger, bait box and something to put kit in that hangs under the legs. You should be able to get the lot at the price you want to pay.

agree with the lads ian gold, got the match 6ft rig rack and leg lock kit 40 notes wot more can you ask for

Gotta be the Odd pod for me availible from angling innovation technologies, they are meant to be the most stable tripod on the market.
I know a couple of guys that have them and they cant fault them.

I have sent you the link.

deffo go for golds. they're the best in the business.

especially with the rest heads for extreme tide.

Gotta be the Ian Golds match rest,had mine 10 yrs,and fished rocks cliffs and beaches and it aint ever let me down.As the saying goes " GO FOR GOLD"
