Pakefield Beach

Fished Pakefield Tuesday 20/12/05, 6pm til midnight, lots of small whiting and a couple of nice dab.
Fished mackeral tipped lug approx. 70 yrds out.
Anyone fishing here regularly able to offer any tips on getting better fish?

Thanks

hi, when fishing pakefield beach make sure you fish the tide going out, try getting out as far as possible. black lug seems to be the best bait there and squid. i fished there just over a week ago all i got was a few whiting. but the week before we had half a dozen 3 / 4lb codling. it can be a bit snaggy in places as well, i lost 4 sets of gear that evening
