Ok everybody, thanks a lot so far for all the advice and stuff. I have started to have a good think about catching more fish over here in Spain and I have decided to give livebiting a go. I am intending to catch some minnows, and cast them out on a float system, let them drift along about a depth of 3 to 5 foot deep. I think I can possibly catch some Cuda as I know there around the Mahon harbour as I have seen them on night fishing visits. I aslo know that at this time of year there are a type of fish very similar to a Travali(Yellow pointed fins and slim and quick, similar to tuna but different colour)? They grow quick and get big, and are always around this time of year. I will be fishing near the entrance of the harbour. MY QUESTION is "HOW AND WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO HOOK ON A MINNOW FOR FISHING WITH????" I am unsure weather to use trebble hooks or single hooks or 2 hooks ???? HELP..

I must also appologise for my bad spelling My Spanish is better than my English now !!!!(Been here 20 years!!)

Trolling/Cast & retrieve: Hook through upper and lower lip.

Float: Hook through the back but avoid the spine in order to not paralyze the fish.

Free swim: Hook through the tail
