I used to wave to you from across the Lough - I'm originally from Carrickfergus.
You sound disappointed with the catches - don't be. I'm fishing off the east coast of England these days and it's pitiful. Mind you having said that, there are bass around. Isn't it a bit snaggy around Cushendall or have the beaches got a bit less rocky since I left in 89?
I'd like to know as I'm planning a trip over later this year and I'll also try the west coast around Sligo.
Have you fished Whitehead or Carrickfergus recently? |
