Been srcatching around for a mould as ive two lads that sometimes fish with me and the loss is becoming a little too expensive.
Would prefer to steer away from the gemini system as feel that these are also far too expensive.
There are a few on the market but am looking for advice from those that make there own and could suggest a suitable mould that possibly makes leds from 4oz to 6oz.
Have plenty of led but most magazines dont give advice on wire size or where to aquire beads and tails to follow compleation of sinker.
All post on mould imfo apreatiated  |

I use ADJUSTI moulds,5oz.They do make then in 3,4,5 or 6oz and the adjusti moulds make it plain but with the holes in,for you to convert to gripper. The mould costs £16.the wires are 20 gauge and can be bought at any tackle shop along with the beads.
Remember to do a couple of rubbish leads first to warm youre mould up |

Thanks for that one.
I must say that i had looked at the ajusti model but it was a singular mould and thought this may be a very slow process.
cheers again. |

As far as i know, adjusti is the only manufacturer that do these moulds, place the wires in the hot mould, pour in lead, pull the wires back and forth for about ten secs, remove the wires, open mould and remove sinker, there you have 1 ready to use sinker, plain or gripper.I can normally do anywhere between 75 and 100 in an hour after heating the mould, otherwise you will have to buy 2 moulds,1 for plain leads and 1 for grippers |

Got some in the garden mate, ive been saving it for this purpose for years
just never got around to using it.
But as i say with my two lads sometimes taking to the odd session with me, tackel loss sinker wise is becoming a too expensive joke so the moulds in order. |
