It is just 6 long days till i depart on my annual fishing week. I return home to Plymouth and father and I fish for a whole week. We really do cram as much in as possible. There will be morning, evening, night and all day fishing. By the end of the week we are exhausted due to lack of sleep, we only average 4 - 5 hours each night, or day!!

There are no decent meals to eat, just sandwiches from a packed lunch, crisps and a daily stop and the chippy. It really is an excellent week - hopefully the weather will play ball.

Tomorow i am off to Veals in Bristol, i live in Gloucester, to buy an Anyfish Anywhere Bait Pax, Daiwa Tournament 10lb line and some end tackle. Then it is time to but some fresh line on my spinning real and generally get things ready. Being a big kid full of excitement i will be dipping in and out of my gear all week - i even start packing on wednesay.

Planned places to fish are Mountbatten Pier, Stoke Point, Castle Cove, Slapton Sands, West Hoe Pier and surronding rocks, Gara, East Portlemouth and may be Start Point. My goal is to catch a ray as i have never caught one.

I shall post a long report on my return Sunday 19th, with loads of photos.

cheers

lee

I only get to fish one a month all year apart from my annual one weeker trip, long range forecast is looking a bit hit and miss so fingers crossed.
