hi, just wondered if anybody fishes in and around dover and if they can recomend any hot spots ? i fish the ad peir alot but dont seem to get anything much apard from dogs and the odd codling. yet to try POW but every1 keeps telling me 2 stay clear of it coz its rubbish and ive been off deal peir and had good results off there. also tried off the beech at seabroock and caught good cod and a few smalish smoothies from there also a few flatties. if you fancy meeting up for a few casts let us know and we will get somthing arranged.

i had a few chucks at samphire hoe last weekend got plenty action from fairly decent wrasse (1.5lb up to 3.5) and plenty of pouting.
but take loads of old weights or spark plugs cos its snaggy as f*#*
i fished just east of the ramp to car park ,cast out to about 75 to 100 yds and non stop rod tipping
i found if you keep your rod up and keep winding you'll get your tackle back at least 50% of time
high to low tide was best time for me that afternoon
so good luck we're off to dungee friday night for a bash poss staying all night if conditions ok the gonna try bodrum in turkey wiv a few spinners
good luck let me know if you go to samphire hoe and how you got on
