Heard threw the grape vine that a twenty six pound cod was landed off the admiralty pier at dover this week.

Anyone else heard this story or can anybody claim that they know that its true or not.

Dover is a place of possibility and we know the cod have arrived but 26lb,
any chance of some truth on this one :?:

Hi there,, its nice to know somebodys catching something plus its good to hear reports that fish are being landed.
Sounds like sensible fish too.
Lets all hope that these arnt storys as we would all like to hook into these
prized wonders.
Each year somebody crys cod and everybody goes running to that paticular venue with some and most of the time bad results.
Believe me like alot of people ive been doing it for years,,, Ok in some cases results can be fair and that big story is always in anothers favour but thats fishing.

Thats why its so important to keep reports as fresh and up to date as possible with out any if"s but"s or maybe"s.
Lets hope theres a good one the cards for everyone this year........

THE WEATHER IS LOOKING GOOD FOR IT ANYWAY....

big grin GOODLUCK ALL big grin

I was on Admiralty Pier on Sat 5th when someone landed a 20+lb cod. The guys running the pier were all excited. I never saw the beastie weighed, but it sure looked big!
