Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you have been out in the afore mentioned areas lately? I have seen a a few reports for earlier this month and there doesnt seem to be much doin!
We are down there at the end of the month on our Anual lads sea fishing weekend and just wondered if anyone can tell us about catches you have had,baits areas etc.

Fished Hurst several times in last few weeks at night but nothing about, several occasions not even a bite! went down during the day last week and it was hectic no sooner had I cast then yet another Schooly Bass come out.one decent sized of about 5lb! Milford is not fishing good either(tonnes of weed) Taddys gap (other side of white house) fishing ok Bass,smoothies,dogs.Hope this helps you.bait has been mackeral tipped with lug or squid! |

Taddy's gap? how would i get to that stretch. When you say abouve the white house do you mean at Milford on sea near to where the beach huts,cafe etc are?

thursday 21st. milford shingle.
my m8 reports too weedy after recent high winds from the south and south west , i'd advise an alternate venue, untill things calm down a little or the wind swings around .
weed can be a big problem here in the summer , especially on spring tides and rough weather.

( the white house is west of the needles eye cafe at the far end of the carpark.)
( taddiford gap...? dunno, can never find it. i think its west of hordle beach by golf course.) |

Hi Geejay, thanks for the reply mate.
We are off there this friday (29th) So i hope the weed situation improves!
We are also camping so i hope this god damn weather gets a little better!
I have fished Milford shingle bank before when it has been windy and weedey and it is a nightmare! Am gonna try the Taddy, i have a ordenence servey map and i now know where it is.
Also thanks a lot for the email that you sent me a month or so ago to my hotmail address, it was very helpful.
