I live in East London and go to Dover for fishing every summer, since it is a long jurney I want to be sure that there is a lots of mackeral. I am also interestet to meet anyone who is into mackrel fishing and willing to share the cost of traveling. I have my own transport. Just need a good companion who has a passion for fishing.

I've heard reports that they are starting to show but I personally like to wait a few more weeks to ensure they are there in the numbers to make it worth the trip.

Mackerel are showing at Southend Pier in Essex, therefore it would be safe to assume they will be showing along the south coast too.
