I fished the extension today catching 10 school bass, 12 flatties, 2 whiting and 6 codling, with only 2 of the codling being sizable. The codling I did catch were being tempted by peeler crab, and the rest of the fish came on lug using small hooks.
Fished the 1st few hours of the flood hard for bass, using either live whiting or jelly crabs but to no avail.

Wow, nice catch Rocket. Sounds like you had an enjoyable day. Hope you don't mind if I ask, where about exactly where you on the pier?

Tight Lines.

To start I was fishing about 100 yards to left of the west point facing towards Kent, then as the tide started flooding I moved to the East point.
