I fished the extension today catching 10 school bass, 12 flatties, 2 whiting and 6 codling, with only 2 of the codling being sizable. The codling I did catch were being tempted by peeler crab, and the rest of the fish came on lug using small hooks.
Fished the 1st few hours of the flood hard for bass, using either live whiting or jelly crabs but to no avail. |

Doesnt sound like a bad days fishing Rocket, well done.

How do you fish hard for bass?
Wear leather and knuckle dusters perhaps :lol: :lol: |

Fishing the extension and schoolies ? I sometimes have an extension but I always lean over politlely and excuse myself from company. |

lol I found that in my box tried using it and i think the sea water has destroyed it, so i had to buy another, you can have it back when i see you next as its gone pass its sale buy date i think:P |

impressive catch Rocket, yuo must give me lessons. You caught more in one session than all my sessions on the pier put together |

I was doing a bit of beach fishing for a while on the pier, thats why so many small fish  |

To start I was fishing about 100 yards to left of the west point facing towards Kent, then as the tide started flooding I moved to the East point. |
