Easytide are running a poll on the tide prediction site, sea angling not an option to tick so I emailed them;
reply
Dear Sir,
With reference to your comments regarding EasyTide.
We have now been advised by the Product Manager that our web team will add Sea Anglers to the list of options and apologies for missing them out initially.
Many thanks for bringing this matter to our attention.
if you use easytide
http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/easytide/EasyTide/SelectPort.aspx
please click on the poll to raise sea anglers profile at The Home Office. |

Just a minor point but easytide is the UK Hydrographic Office, nothing to do with the Home Office (they are in fact an agency of the MOD, run along the same lines as a normal business). I'd agree that there is no problem with raising the status of anglers pretty much anywhere but doing it with Easytide is unlikely to even reach central government let alone effect the way it reacts, the survey is for marketing purposes.
That being said, I'm a regular user of Easytide and it doesn't hurt to let them know that the site is popular with sea anglers. |

I too use Easytide, religiously, and have found it to be the best site of this type. |
