Crab and only a crab. After walking 1.75miles up river from st. Peters Point and fishing before and after high tide. Fishing in a northerly on-shore wind giving a good surf but with only 6 foot of water all I found using lug worm was a solitary crab so it seems evenings and nights or very early mornings is what it takes to find fish here.

Hello seajay,
Good to see that you are getting out and doing it, It's also good to see that the results although not good have got you thinking.
Welldone for posting despite the lack of success, It helps us all to formulate opinions of what is going on, keep it up.

Better luck next time!

Cheers,

OCB.

Hi OCB, Can you suggest a venue for my novice friend and myself to fish (both in our retirement years). Todays result will not be very encouraging for him. We both live just outside Chelmsford.
