Is anyone catching anything decent in the solent yet. I haven,t heard of much yet. But I have seen mullet in the river Yar at Yarmouth. There are reports of Rockling but there not my idea of fun fishing. |

Only a lot, Mr Crackoff. Look East, to the other side of the solent. Already hounds from the boats, and one of 18lb from the beach. Plaice are there for those who can cast a bit further, and I believe you qualify, if you head around to Southsea and fish anywhere east of the pier. End of St Georges road is the favouite, but I think distance is more important than location along here. Have a look at my diary for March for more info and piccies
www.fishyrob.co.uk and click on Diary, March and follow the links for each session. |
