Fished Spurn yesterday. Weather was good with a bit of a northerly breeze.

Started fishing the road at around 8:15am. Bang on top water (half 8) bagged a 4 and a half pound cod. This was closely followed by 3 very good sized whiting. My mate had just as much luck bagging 7 whiting (5 keepers). All of the fish were caught within the first 2 hours of fishing and mostly on squid.

Moved onto the point at about 12 o’clock. Before leaving at around half 3 I had another 2 whiting and my mate another 6 whiting and a 3 pound cod.

Rumour has it that a guy fishing further around the point had an 11lb, 8lb and 5lb cod.

All in all a good days fishing. If someone can tell me how to get a pic on here I will post a photo.
