Hi

I went out on the breakwater on Sat. It's now £8 for non dover club members. Got there early (7:00) for the 8:00 boat, I was the last (12th)onto the boat. Fished peg 213 nearest the stepps from the boat, started first rod with a 2 hook flapper while I got a nice big sqid filled with lug bound up on a pennel. With the tide pulling strong to the right it was not good for seeing the bites. The first three casts pulled in three doggies and 2 whitting, next cast I got snagged and lost the lot.
The pennel rod had been stripped of bait twice but was now showing a bite.
another snag, freed and retrieved another doggie and the rig that I had just lost complete with leader.
Ended the day with 9 doggies 2 big whitting 1 dab and a nice sized pout.

Half way along the breakwater saw 2 codling to 3.5 lb and more nearer the knuckle.
