rockling on the fly

yes i know mad.but all fish can be caught on the fly.what would rocklings be feeding on .winter time there is a lot about all close in ,within casting range of the fly.caught one on bait the other day about 25 yrds off the beach,mis cast.they seem agressive so i think will take a fly bounced across the bottom,may even pick up a flounder.
