just recently bought a 525mag
after reading the reports i thought i would use the red rocket oil to slow it down a bit
when i removed the outer casing one of the middle magnets fell out of the magnet holder while it was on the table
when i tried putting it back it kept coming out and attaching itself to one of the other magnets
tried putting it in both ways round and it didnt make any difference
should the magnets be fixed the holder in some way maybe with a bit silicone (mastic) or something like thread lock
the other 3 seam fairly solid in the holder

BooBoo,

don't mess with the reel, just phone Penn up and tell tthem the problem. Their number is 0141 814 6565.

I've done this in the past when I had a few problems with a new mag and they were more than helpful.

Take it to a local tackle shop they should be able to sort it out for you.
