Hi all.
I've taken time off work to spend 3 days worm drowning in Portugal.
Being new to sea fishing I've never encountered a peeler crab before, but I came across some crabby looking LIVE things in the tackle shop today and, of course, I had to invest a couple of euros. Unfortunately, seeking advice from the tackle shop and from local anglers over here is a bit pointless if you speak only 4 words of the lingo (grande cerveja faz favor = huge beer, John) - although the evenings can be eventful with my advanced vocabulary.
I now have a fridge full of vicious predators and not the slightest idea of what to do with them.
Perhaps they may not be peeler crabs. They are between 1.5 and 2 inches across the shell and show no sign of peeling, only a grim determination to remove a couple of my fingers.
Can anyone tell me how I should prepare/present them as bait or would I be better chucking them back into the sea.

Right - If I don't get any replies the crabs get it! OK?
4:00 tomorrow (Saturday) they're back in the sea (feeling quite sorry for them anyway)
