grilled a gar the weekend with salt pepper and a squeeze of lemon,was nice but has anyone got a better recipe?

No.
Could try smoking one I guess. I intend to fix meself up with a half decent smoke box before long as I often have sawdust lying about. |

Hi eccles I do have a neighbour that is a tree feller and recomends saw dust from fruit trees , is this true I do have a Rapla smoker from last christmas but unfortunatley not used ?(becuase the fish are undersized, need bigger hooks lol)

Do some googling on the internet. I last had a look a couple of years ago and there were a couple of quite interesting sites advising what sawdust to use, etc. Can't rememember where now. |
