fished the early tide up next to inn on beach from about 8 oclock with 2 rods and using just rag.Quiet for about then started getting knock knocks on rods with no results, then one strong one and hooked in,to my delight was my first ever very small thorny ray about 10ounces i think. After more annoying knocks for about an hour 1 rod banged down hard and new something good on ,well to my surprise it turned up to be a mackerel around the pound mark.TOTALY shocked but hey a fish is a fish, couple more hours of knocks but wind picked up so called it a nite about 11.30 |
