Spoke to Royboy yesterday, no mention of whiting in the river from him, but showing on the Holderness coast. If the river fishes like the last 3 years its a lottery, you might catch the odd whiting/codling this winter. Cheers..Mick |

Yes theres whiting in the river, used rest of my bait from weekend on queen elizabeth dock last night for a few hours, had 8 whiting at top of tide, no big ones but at least they are starting to show...
But the crabs are a problem! was sometimes bringing 3 or 4 of them in at a time
