tought i would try walmer yesterday as judging by the wind direction and the poor weather all week i thought it would be worth a shot and throw up a few whiting.
started fishing about midday and finished bout 5, high water being about half 2ish
used lug, mackeral and squid
out of these, we tried using just the guts out of the mackeral and the whiting loved it!
started catching whiting from start to finish. most were keepers as well, probably 70% of them were
lost count in the end but was easily around the 50 mark
a good afternoon out after 2 previous blanks |

Well Done Gary - Sounds like a cracking session.
Hope to be able get out for a night session in the next week or two.
Good to see Walmer producing for you following the jinx of me when we fished it a few weeks ago.
See you on the beech again soon.
Colin. |

Nice to hear the whiting are getting bigger, looking forward to next weekend. I hope to get down to Hythe 1 or 2 evenings.
