I use to fish a place called Stone a few years ago, you use to get to it heading towards Maldon somewhere, cant remeber where to be precise.
Just wondered if anyone ever fished it, as we use to walk out just before low water and fish the deep channel in the middle for big bass and Skate.

We used to fish from the boats up that way when I was a kid and the area around Osea Island and St Lawrence Bay was quite well known (and well fished) in the seventies. If you look at some of the articles in old magazines such as Angling, you will see peices about this area were published quite regularly by the likes of John Rawle and Bob Cox.
