big grin Turned up at about 10am and fished in front of the tower, Katie set up her new rod and soon after Tom and the boys arrived. Chris phoned to say he was going to be late due to beer O.D! We started out with macs and mussels as Chris was bringing the worms. We all had our first cast as Chris and Sue turned up, when Katies rod knocked sharply and pulled in a good size codling (50cm). The rest of the day brought a mixed bag including codling, pouting, bass and whiting for all except for Tom who blanked apart from a crab!!!! Thank's to the chap that left us his leftover worms, and some usefull venue locations.

Thanks for the report and glad you got amongst a fish or two. Always enjoy fishing Shingle Street and you never know what you might get. We have had sizeable bass before in March along with codling so fingers crossed for a good one. happy

I have kept rag for two or three weeks in the fridge. Kept in shallow trays like a cat litter tray. Enough water so that they are not covered by it. Sea water kept in fridge also and any dead or split worms removed from tray as soon as poss. Water changes when it starts to look a bit manky. This works for me but may be some other tips about keeping them on here. Good luck. happy P.s. Don't overcrowd the trays either.
