has anyone ever tried walking out with the tide and fishing off southend beach at low tide or fishing the shallows as the tide starts to come in?
Always thought either of these approaches may be worth trying but never got around to it. Very different conditions either side of the pier the mud flats go on forever east of the pier while its sand banks to the west |

Some guy advised meeting the water at low tide to me but ive never tried it as im not sure if I would be at risk of getting my boots stuck as the tide comes in. |
