Hi Macker
A few questions for you before I can help
What experience do you have of boat fishing?
What equipment have you got already, rods, reels etc?
Are you small boat or charter fishing?
Do you know what types of fishing you are going to do, drifting, wrecking etc?
What are your target species, summer or winter ?
There are lots of various techniques and I would be pleased to give general advice to get you started but don't know you're area for specific help

When I first started boat fishing, many years ago.
The best advise and help I got, was from the skipper of the boat.
The vast majority of them have many years experience and most are willing to help out if you need it.....
Good luck mate |

It was way back in the days when were brave enough to face force seven and eights.
Not like you young whipper-snappers who rush back to the shelter of some river everytime a breeze ruffles your hair.
And the skipper may have been called Noah, but at least we had a whale of a time. |
