was thinking of trying a mark for bass i normally try on the fly.has anyone one tried wading out and casting a decent bait,half a mackeral or big peeler from low water onwards on evening tides.not talking about static fishing.fishing with rod in hand and moving with the tide .

were i do my bass fishing there is a couple who walk out to the water and walk back with the tide and they do really well i dont do it as im disabled they use lugworm as the tide is coming in the bass are looking for the sandeels coming out so are very close in i hope this helps you

Hooked on Bass.......Alan Vaughan & Mike Ladle......Brilliant book, got everything you want to know about that and other techniques.

Definitely worth a bash. I fish rod in hand around the harbour, sometimes on the low. Simple running ledger and big worm or peeler can be good fun whilst the fish are feeding late evening.
