Went down to the cockle beds to gather cockles and clams,found some decent sized clams has anyone had any luck using them as bait and for what fish?

Too good to use for bait mate - cook them quickly in butter and white wine, delish. |

They are lovely eating also had 14 good size oysters ,offered to alot of people cant beleive how many turn there noses up at free good food .
