:roll: Hey people just 2 let u know im about reading your stuff!, just started fishing last month only got basic beachcaster and fixed spool and eager for knowledge.
I live in bideford and work at the shipyard(great for doing the crab traps) luckily have companions who know their stuff however tend to disagree on everything so thought id use u lot as a third opinion!
fished so far: clovelly/bucks mills/watermouth/ilfracombe pier/cannons(mouth torridge estuary/westward ho!/appledore)
I have caught: about 10 dogfish 2 shore rockling (tiny!)flounder 1lb half
2 codling (also tiny) and apparentley a small bullhusk! just bought a fladen floatation suit and friday we are off to brean down in somerset to fish for thornbacks and cod using pennel sliding rigs tipped with half mackrel wrapped in whole squid(or so im told) anybody fished here before ? or know any good marks in my area will post results of trip cheers nik

Greetings Nik! I'm sure one of the reprobates, sorry, fine gentlemen on here will point you in the right direction. They did that for me when I joined-I still haven't found my way out the rotten bar stewards! 8O :lol: :lol: :lol:
