arrived at my chosen spot at hayling this morning about 5.15,was fishing by 5.30.move to the poontoon after watching trens diving.was now high tide,first cast resulted in a nice mackeral.third cast bass ,about 37cms.nxt cast another mackeral .in the nxt hour i had 9 bass all over the pound mark and 4mackeral.was using a size 2 green/white clouser and blue/yellow clouser .think i could have had more but had to be at work at 7.30.best mornings fishing for a while.

Nice one m8 good stuff,and what a way to start the day you cant beat it I need to move closer to the beach,could do with some of that action myself.

iknow how you feel colin,i really stuggled start of the season .now ive had 13 bass and 4 mackeral in two trips.not too bad .never had as many bass in that size bracket ,usually get afew tiddlers ,but there wasnt any about this morning ,thank god.
