We set up 4 rods in the rain at 2.30pm (high tide 4.30pm);the rain cleared but no bites untill about an hour after high tide.Katie had a Dab followed shortly after by a small Codling. Later I had a good size codling around 18-20 inches long.Tom arrived with the family and caught a small rockling within 5 mins of fishing! packed up at around 8.30pm big grin All caught on lug and mussels on a pennel rig

Nice one . We have had some good days there early in the year. We seemed to catch sizeable codling when the surrounding beaches were not really producing. Enjoy the summer sole fishing there too.
