Hi Guys,
Fished Lee on Friday night me and the old fella, Started at 5:30 High tide around 8:45, Fishing was good from the off with a small ray each. Then came my first Smoothie coming in at 3 Pound my first one ever, i was chuffed and it wasnt even high yet,
As it fell dark just after high the fish came thick and fast with Bass and small pups nearly every cast. Then the old fella had a very nice knock and he was in fish on, he had caught a bull huss (we think) of around 2.5 pound and just as he was bringing it onto the beach i has a big knock then i noticed all my line had go slack. after a bit a fight i landed a 5.5 pound smoothie Packed up around 11:45
My best night so far
Pictures will follow hopefully.
Tight Lines

Straight in front of the Old Ship Pub.
Bait's were Rag,Squid,Bluey,Peeler. Everything on Rag bar the 5.5lb smoothie that was on crab. other bait's were untouched.
Lee is a nice venue as anything can come out there |
