Walton Pier 01/05 + 04/05 2011

Hi all,

Ducker (Lenny) and I went to fish the pier on Sunday knowing that the wind

was gona be bout 20mph but seemed more like 120mph laughing

anyway

we got up there in the afternoon and fished through till 2am, we had a good

session with about 30 fish between us biggest being a Dog Fish of 56cm, there

was another couple of anglers who fished till midnight.

We had Whiting + Codling + Dog Fish + Rockling, there was Bass to bout 4lb

+ Codling to bout 3.5lb + Eel's caught by others,

Here are a few of the fish we landed :-

Having watched the weather conditions we decided to give the pier another

bash on Wednesday, with the drop in wind we were hopping for a real

bumper session.

Arrived on the pier bout 11am with 1.20ht thought we would fish the Ebb

as we have found this to be more productive.

Bait :- Crab, Whelk, Blow Lug, Black Lug, Mackerel , Squid + Cornish

Pasty. big grin

You name the Rig we Tried it.

Lovely sunny day with a chilly wind of bout 5mph.

Loads of other anglers on the pier too.

First cast after 10mins in the water I landed a nice condition good size Dog

Fish, the start of a great session we thought but it was not to be.

All in all we had bout 20ish Fish between us, nothing like we expected,

but where else would you rather be great weather and catching fish with

great company.

great report good picturesand great company thanks tim for two great trips to the walton banter was great one of these days we will most probaly get kicked of the pier for bad behaviur but its all good fun if any body wants to join us for a good days fishing every body welcome even roy

Looks like you both had a fine time down on the Pier, weather looks nice and plenty of action !!!!!!!!!!!!!!, gonna see if me & 'Whelkie' can get a session soon, maybe meet up with you guys soon
