Has anybody landed any hounds in the local area thinking of going hunting for them in the next couple of weeks.any good venus or tips would be great

you could also try sandy point on the lw at the back end of this wk,evenings.they will take crab(peeler or cheaper small hard backs)and also had them on squid.running ledger,bomb weight,let it roll around,4/0 single hook .worked well for me last year .

Cant believe i forgot Sandy point low water. 4th may last year produced a 28lber for one lucky angler winking

Sorted it with my good woman I will be at sandy point friday 6th.Maybe see a few of you there.Is casting to end of gryones about right place to be.

photo is in shop,iwas fishing sandypoint on 28/5/09 and had a feild day with the hounds ,a week later said chappie went down and caught the 28lber and me and my mate joked that it was the one justin lost that nite whilst playing to the crowd.maybe wrong.

we have done well sandy point low water same tackticks nothing like 28lb more like 10/12 but had 6 or 7 in one night......awsome!i to would be up for a meet if your going let me know.

All this smutty talk is very exciting! If I didn't have other plans that I can't change now for both Friday and Saturday nights (brother's 50th party being one), I might well have made a trek down myself to Sandy Point...

well its set for me weather wind and tides all look good for fishing sandy point from about 7pm till its un fishable then moving to eaststoke with the tide.will be driving from southsea so if any one want to join me in box me.
