PEOPLE: Me, daddy, brother, and m8

WEATHER: sunny

TIDE: both

RIGS: two hook clipped down, pulley

BAIT:mackerel, ragworm, sand eel

RESULTS: 21 coallies, 5 dogfish

the good weather came in and i decided to go for my first session of year. i heard the fishing wasnt that great at the minute so i wasnt expecting much.

i arrived at the mark around 10 in the morning, i tracked over some very slippery rocks and had a look at the platform i fish off, it looked alright so i walked over and just as i put my bag down a wave crashed and surrounded me with water. i was lucky i got a quick escape by jumping on to a higher rock. so i made a dash for a for the safer rocks and got setup. the fishing was great pulling up coallies every half hour r so and a couple of doggies i was surprised we got so many cause i was told the fishin wasnt great. it was pretty much the same the other two days.

all and all it was a great session to open my year and hope to get out again soon

Looked like a cracking day out, would never have thought of casting from there. My mate and I have taken some Seabass in the last couple of weeks at Downhill and Mackeral have been reported at Ramore head in the past couple of days. It looking like an unproductive winter is coming to an end.

Great pics.
