bit late with this post ,internet problems.arrived at the bank about 6ish,and started fishing into the run for about ahour with no takes ,until the local seal arrived, change locations.went to the inside of the bank ,walking near enougth out to the windsurfers bouy.connected with a fish ,had it on for a few seconds then lost it,felt like a bass .the bank has changed again this year, with a large lagoon formed about waist deep water in places ,with two exits either end, should trap a few fish later in the year.finished around 9 .oily calm sea and lovely sunset, great to be back again .another wk or 2 should see the season start.
ps re edit coast guard number in phone,no wonder got no answer

Well done on hooking a fish Mick. Myself and Simon ventured out on Thursday and although everything looked perfect we did not connect with anything. The terns are there, the sun is there and the water is warm (ish), a couple of weeks and they be thousands of bass just queing up for your gurgler, even if it does sink!
Tom.
