Mmmm!

Four of us fished Thorney bay caravan park last night (Bignige,Bigsi,Hbomb & Me)
It was flat calm, and not a breath of wind, You could of fished by candle light.
It was a 5.7 mtr tide, which is fairly strong at T Bay.
Because of our late decission or bad organisation, we failed to get any lugworm, so we fished with rag/squid & razors.
The fishing was very slow on the flood, with only 11 fish to the four rods.
( 9 codling & 2 whiting )
After 3 hours Bigsi had had enough, and decide to call it a day, so we were down to 3 rods on the ebb ( Bigsi didn't want to fish anyway, But I talked Him into It, Sorry mate  )
Well, as the tide ebbed so did our chances of catching, with bites , such as the were previously, totaly disapearing.

Over the session we tried all distances to find some fish, and the results were 50/50.
All the baits we used caught fish, and in reality I don't think the lugworm would have made that much difference???????

Everybody fished hard, and we all still had a good night.
Hbomb was particularily pleased, as she has now caught, Not 1 but 4 of her first shore caught codling, Using and casting her own beach rod & multiplier ( only one frapp up too! ) There was three blokes thinking: Why couldn't we do that when we had just started???? (Reels are better nowdays)
Well done H !! big grin
Session conclusion: ?????????DUNNO??????????

Cheers all,
OCB.....

FAO. Itgottaway, sent you a pm.

You boys (and girl) wanna leave them baby cods alone and head down the south coast for some real adventure. Southsea area is suddenly back on form, in close on the windy days, bangin it on the calm ones. Some better spikeys amongst the schoolies also! Easy if you can get the D D Deal done nice...... (or rhymes with, you tell me......
