Hi i am going fly fishing for Bass soon, and its my 1st time out there with a fly rod.Can you tell me what would be the best fly for the job and Do i greas the the fly line the first few feet of the leader so its float. |

hi there mate.sparsely tied clousers on size 4 would be a good start,no need to greese your line as far as i know.if fishing shallow water a floating line and mono leader will keep they fly in the upper reaches or flourocarb to keep the fly down..hope this helps ,sure more advice will fallow.

Only if you're dry fly fishing. Those clousers are lousy floaters mind. |
