Hi All,
Thought i'd give Corton a go today as we've had a good blow for the last few days. Got down around 8:45am and fished until 1:00pm. When i got there i was the only one on the beach, when i left there must have been 20+!
Fished with 0/2 2 hook clip down rigs. Squid on top hook and lug on bottom. 2 rods. Was getting out about 120yds ish. Got my first cod for many months happy 2 1/2 lb. Got several bits but only managed to hook one other. Got it in to within my leader lenght of the beach and the bugger escaped crying not sure of the size but it made me swet a bit (must get down the gym!!). Guy next to me had 5 cod (2 undersize) and a least one other had a couple around the 2 1.2lb mark. Seems theres been a few caught over the last few days!! will give it nother go next week happy
