hi all
myself and ducker tried walton yesterday
arrived at 3 pm, was a bit blowy to say the least
set up on top right corner, there were 2 lads just packing up after blanking, nobody else on the pier ( always a bad sign )
it was quiet to say the least
leonardo caught his one and only fish at about 6pm
a nice little codlet, DONT HE LOOK HAPPY....ducker i mean
about 2 hours later i had a small whiting
that was it, all quiet really but at least we tried
we left at 1am
lenny did show me how good he is at casting in the dark with his sandstorm and penn 525 mag set up though
cheers len but i will stick to my f/s in the dark and leave my 6500 at home for the nightime sessions |

Sorry you both didn't catch too much but well done and 'Hats off ' for the effort, it's gonna be like this until late April / early May when in theory it should pick up a bit BUT...........................if the Trawlers have their way,........... don't hold your breath.
Got to admire Lens style 'pearl 1, knit 1, springs to mind lol lol, only pulling your leg old mate .......................JOLI |

I see Snaggersaurus didn't make the trip so its nice to see Ducker take up the mantle and stand tall in the "Eee by gum the birds are nesting early in the season trophy"

Good effort guys and the birdsnest . Sandstorms are not forgiving rods when cast out as they are a bit tippy. So casting at night can be a nightmare . I used to have a PPT viper and that was the same you had to be careful. |

That is a cracking "birdie" .......... but still looks like you could un-pick it !
New line is notorious for birdies !
Cheers,
