well as i was fishing a rocky bottom beach i had to strike most of the bites quite early or risk getting snagged up or taken into a hole.
i'd already lost two fish before the moray and one was a good fish but the moray pulls hard on the bite without taking line ( as i have my reel set on a tight free spool). i had to bully hard to keep the fish off the bottom and stop it going for the rocks. but it came in and they are vicious little blighters. they keep rolling up themselves to get to your hand. |
