ive got 2 spaces for a boat trip in the river blackwater, its a 5-6hrs trip from west mersea aboard eastern promise skipper derek mole. cost of trip £25 that with squid, i can bring rods reels etc if needed. if any1 interested call me 07598932984

thanks for organising the trip westy, it was very enjoyable.

unfortunatly the coddies did not show up in numbers ther was probably a dozen caught upto 3lb.

i managed 4 upto 2lb on whole squid and 8/0 pennels plus a load of whiting.

while we where wiating for derek to pick us up scott belbin landed his day charters one of whom had caught a lovely 15lb 5oz cod. interestingly they had only had one other codling all day. so it seems it is pretty slow in general!

yes mate it was a bit slow and yes that was a nice cod scott had, derek did said he had 30 codling in the day to 3lb fishing just off jaywich so the numbers are there but small 1 with the obb big 1. where we was fishing i did have a look at the fish finder and the fish were going though 5-15ft of the bottom so thats not good,i managed 2 codling lose 1 and 15 yting

just like to thank you for agreat night i had 10wyts and of course that coddling2-3lbs also caught the first fish on the boat nice to meet other guys but adam you wont win the boat comp in december take a good look at the cabbus crew for a laugh
